GRAND RAPIDS, MI - An injured fox kit has befriended a stuffed animal - a fox - at West Michigan Wildlife Center after being rescued by a good Samaritan. Kent County task force to examine deer population issues, come up with solutions
KENT COUNTY, MI – Local governments in Kent County are banding together to find a solution to nuisance issues and vehicle crashes caused by deer. A recently formed task force representing the county and its cities and townships is working with Grand Valley State University (GVSU) to survey residents and study deer issues with the aim of devising mitigation strategies that can fit different parts of the county.

KENT COUNTY, MI – Outdoor warning sirens in Kent County were activated Tuesday, April 23, when the county was inadvertently included in a tornado warning, authorities said. Kent County Sheriff’s Office activated warning sirens at 9:33 p.m. after the National Weather Service in Grand Rapids issued a tornado warning. The warning was cancelled three minutes later.
