Goal: Meet the Needs for Child Care in East Central Indiana
Leaders in the region are strategizing to increase the number of providers. Child care in East Central Indiana, like many places around the country, has a capacity issue. Many communities have fewer than half of the child care seats needed, and some qualify as child care deserts, meaning there are three children for every one child care slot.
