5 Best Restaurants in Austin, Texas You Need to Try Before Everyone Else Finds Them
Austin, Texas—where the sun bakes the limestone and the air hums with music, where murals bloom on every block and the scent of barbecue, chiles, and fresh tortillas drifts through neighborhoods stitched together by dreamers, old-timers, and newcomers alike. This is a city where the skyline is a patchwork—glass towers and painted bungalows, taco trucks and porch swings, each a testament to the city’s restless creativity and laid-back soul. Austin pulses with the energy of students, artists, techies, musicians, families, and old souls who remember when South Congress was just a sleepy street.

10 Texas Steakhouses Where The Steaks Are So Good You’ll Stop Caring About The Price
One steakhouse on this list serves dinner on a 32,000-acre working desert ranch. Hollywood filmed a Chuck Norris movie on that same land. Another started life as a hay barn back in 1983. Its peppered beef tenderloin later earned a Gift of the Year nod from The New York Times. A third keeps in-house butchers who dry-age its steaks for at least 21 days.
