WACO, Texas ( FOX 44 ) — The seven Baylor seniors couldn’t have pictured a better way to end their time in the green and gold at Getterman Stadium, completing the sweep of the Houston Cougars with a 6-0 win Saturday afternoon.

The Bears honored seven seniors ahead of their final game at Getterman, with the players’ parents throwing out the first pitch pregame.

Senior Ana Watson kicked off the scoring in the bottom of the third inning after Houston walked Shaylon Govan for the fourth consecutive time this series, leaving the bases loaded. Watson took advantage, doubling to the wall in right center to clear the bases and put the Bears up 3-0.

Kaci West extended the Bears’ lead in the fourth with an RBI-single to bring in Presleigh Pilon to increase to the lead to four.

The Bears added two more runs in the sixth, courtesy of an Emily Hott RBI-triple and a wild pitch to secure the win.

Baylor now looks to the Big 12 conference tournament next week in Oklahoma City.
