LAWRENCE, KS ( FOX 44 ) — The struggles this weekend for the 13th-ranked Baylor Softball team continued on Saturday, as they Bears came up short once again against Kansas.

For the Bears, the big issue against the Jayhawks in the game was turning base runners into runs, as they outhit Kansas 7-3, but yet were shutout by KU pitchers Katie Brooks and Kasey Hamilton.

Meanwhile, on the mound, Aliyah Binford struggled with her command, as she walked five batters on the day. Despite that, she kept Kansas off the scoreboard until the fourth inning when Sara Roszak singled through the right side to score the only two runs of the game for either team.

Glenn Moore and company will now look to salvage a win from the weekend series in Kansas, with the final game of the series set for Sunday, March 17th at noon.
