KANSAS CITY, MO ( FOX 44 ) — Baylor’s run at the Big 12 Basketball Tournament came to an end on Friday night, as the Bears came up short against Iowa State.

The Bears got out to a slow start once again in the contest, as the Cyclones took a 9-1 lead right out of the gate. Baylor immediately responded to tied the game up at 15, but from that point on it was all Iowa State, as the Bears never led.

For Scott Drew and company, the big issue offensively was the struggle from beyond the arc, where the Bears shot just under 21% against ISU.

In the end, three Baylor players finished in double figures, led by Jalen Bridges, who had another big game in KC against the Cyclones, as he scored 20 points.

With the defeat, the Bears will now wait to find out what their matchup is in the NCAA Tournament, with the selection show set for Sunday, March 17th at 5:00 pm.
