MOUNTAIN IRON—The Arrowhead Library System will host a program entitled “Authors in Conversation” at p.m. Monday, May 20, at the Virginia Public Library, and at the Calumet Public Library at noon the same day. It will also be featured at noon Tuesday, May 21, at the Cloquet Public Library.

“Join award-winning Minnesota authors Jess Lourey, Sarah Stonich and Kristi Belcamino for a wildly entertaining night of authors in conversation,” as stated in the ALS news release. The “Authors in Conversation” are three acclaimed Minnesota writers—Jess Lourey, Kristi Belcamino and Sarah Stonich.

This program, sponsored by Arrowhead Library System, was funded in part or in whole with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.

They’ll offer exclusive sneak peeks at their upcoming projects via a few teaser readings, followed by a Q & A session.

“The three of us are all successful authors who write differently, tell different kinds of stories, and have had different publishing experiences, so we bring three times the information to each stop,” said Lourey. “There truly will be something for everyone who comes to see us.”

Jess Lourey, of Minneapolis, writes about secrets. She’s an Amazon Charts bestselling, Edgar-nominated, ITW (International Thriller Writers), Anthony, and Minnesota Book Award-winning author. She has written young adult, magical realism, crime fiction, nonfiction and children’s books.

Sarah Stonich, native of Duluth, is the author of “laugh-out-loud” novels “Fishing!” and “Reeling,” and her internationally acclaimed “Vacationland” was a bestseller, as is its follow-up, Minnesota Book Award winner, “Laurentian Divide.”

USA Today bestselling author and Agatha, Anthony, Barry, and Macavity-award finalist Kristi Belcamino, of Minneapolis, writes dark mysteries about fierce women seeking justice. She also writes for the St. Paul Pioneer Press.

This free hour-long presentation is perfect for ‘tween, teen, and adult readers, writers, and “anyone looking for a fun night with three Minnesota authors.”
