Washington’s wrestling Lady Jays continue to search for their first dual win of the season. Washington fell to 0-3 in duals to start the season Thursday with a pair of losses at the Rolla tri-meet. Owensville defeated Washington, 48-30. The Lady Jays also lost to Rolla, 66-12.

WESTPHALIA - St. James girls basketball defeated Blair Oaks 67-39 to begin the Comet Classic at Fatima high school on Monday. The Tigers opened the night strong, racing off to a 17-11 start. St. James' Kenadee Smith connected from beyond the arc on a dish from Kendall Costoplos. Smith's bucket gave the Tigers their 17-11 lead with about 40 seconds remaining in the first quarter.

WESTPHALIA - Fatima girls basketball opened its annual Comet Classic on a win, as the hometown Comets defeated Helias 66-49 on Monday. The Comets were off to the races in front of their home crowd, jumping out to an early lead. Senior Alli Robertson drove through traffic in the paint, before finding fellow senior Lucy Crede on the wing. Crede knocked down the three-pointer to give Fatima the 21-17 edge with three minutes to play in the second quarter.
