Serious Crash in Maries County
One person is seriously injured in a car accident in Maries County. Around five am Sunday September 24th 40 year old Columbia Missouri resident Dale Bosley was driving his 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe northbound on highway 133 just five miles south of Van Cleve when his Tahoe traveled off the right side of the road. The 2005 Tahoe hit a concrete culvert as well as a tree causing extensive damaged to it, and Bosley received serious injuries. Bosley was air lifted to a university near by, and he was not wearing his seat belt.

No Change For Lake Area In Latest Drought Report
No change again for the lake area on the U.S. Drought Monitor. The monitor, which is published by the national Weather Service, continues to show southeastern Camden and Miller counties falling into the “moderate drought” category with the rest of the two counties, along with Morgan County, classified as still being in the “severe drought” category.

The Phelps County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s help finding a juvenile runaway believed to be in the area. A search is underway for Alex Decker, 17, of Newburg. He was reported missing Monday. Decker is about 5’9”, 130 pounds, with blue eyes and blondish-colored hair. The Sheriff’s Department reminds people that anyone who helps a runaway or interferes with custody can face serious charges.

Dixon man accused of fatal crash involving St. Robert woman heads to court one year after the crash
A Pulaski County man accused of causing a fatal crash earlier this year will next appear in court in January. Kennard Jackson, 69, of Dixon, is accused of running a red light this past January and striking an SUV in St. Robert. A passenger in the SUV, Minerva Williamson, 70, of St. Robert, died in the crash.
