This year, the event will incorporate a new title sponsor, the Georgia Governor’s Office of Highway Safety and their Protect Your Melon message in collaboration with NASCAR driver Ross Chastain.

The Cobb County Board of Commissioners is preparing for the 2025 Major League Baseball (MLB) All-Star Game, to be hosted by the Atlanta Braves at Truist Park. Chairwoman Lisa Cupid acknowledged the ongoing preparations by staff and community members. The board is likely to approve contingency funds for safety, security, and transportation costs for the event.

The Southern Super Series will get off to an early start in 2024. In addition to the previously announced ASA STARS season opener on February 13 at New Smyrna Speedway, which will also count towards Southern Super Series points, the season opener will now be Speedfest on January 20 at Watermelon Capital Speedway.
