Victoria business man who lived to be over 100 years old leaves behind lasting legacy

VICTORIA, Texas - A Victoria man who lived to be 104 years old passed away Saturday.
George Hyak, an Army veteran and longtime business man, was living an area senior living home, when he was featured as a Military Hero on 25 News Now.
At the time Hyak had turned 102 years old and a local motorcycle club celebrated the birthday with a parade outside of the senior living home.
A visitation will be held at Rosewood Funeral Chapel from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 9. The funeral service will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church at 10 a.m. Friday, May 10.
Hyak leaves behind two children, six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two great, great-grandchildren.
