Trumbull County will have no hospital labor and delivery unit after St. Joseph move

Mercy Health is closing the labor and delivery unit at St. Joseph Hospital in Warren, moving deliveries to St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital in Youngstown. Labor and delivery will move out of St. Joseph by early December and will be replaced by a 25-bed inpatient unit. The move leaves Trumbull County without a labor and delivery unit.

ASHTABULA, Ohio (WOIO) - Health officials are urging residents to take simple precautions after an uptick in COVID-19 markers in untreated water. The city of Ashtabula Health Department says the Ohio Wastewater Monitoring Network has reported rising levels of the virus that causes COVID-19 in wastewater at the Ashtabula Wastewater Pollution Control Plant.
