Records: Logan County man accused of inappropriately touching young girl dozens of times
LOGAN COUNTY, W.Va. (WCHS) — A Logan County man is accused of inappropriately touching a girl dozens of times over the course of six years, court records said. William Thomas Abraham, 69, of Omar, W.Va., is charged with 25 counts of sexual abuse, according to a criminal complaint filed in Kanawha County Magistrate Court.

North Carolina man arrested on attempted kidnapping charge
A North Carolina man was jailed last week after he allegedly attempted to kidnap a juvenile girl in the parking lot of a Williamson convenience store. According to Mingo County Magistrate Court documents, on June 1, officers were approached by the juvenile victim and a collaborating witness who stated that Moises Garcia Hernandez, 48, of Sparta, had initiated the incident at the 7-Eleven by “saying inappropriate comments to her and [grabbing] her trying to get her to go with him.”
