It’s time for the return of the Elite Series and the first Disc Golf Pro Tour Elite+ stop. The 2023 Portland Open presented by Latitude 64 kicks off Thursday at Glendoveer Golf in Portland, Oregon. The action shifts fully to Glendoveer, where its towering trees and pristine fairways now hosts two courses — East, which debuted in 2022, and West, which is redesign of the course that was in 2021.
SPORTS: Washougal High School Athletes Compete at State Competitions
Washougal, WA — Twenty-four Washougal High School student athletes representing four sports advanced to state competitions this Spring. Golf, tennis, track and field, and equestrian athletes competed against teams in the Washington 2A division to wrap up the spring athletics season. Girls track placed 7th in state, with Washougal High School student Sydnee Boothby taking 1st place in the 800 meter and 2nd place in the 1600 and 3200 meter races.
