Arrest Made In Connection to May Motorcycle Death
(Omaha, NE) -- Omaha Police have made an arrest in connection with a May 17th homicide investigation. 27-year-old Brandon Mikesh is facing several charges including first-degree murder, use of a weapon to commit a felony, felon in possession of a firearm, tampering with evidence, and third-degree arson. Police initially responded to reports of a motorcycle crash near 9th street and Carter Lake Boulevard, and found 59-year-old Bernard Leonard unresponsive next to his motorcycle with a gunshot wound. Mikesh was taken into custody on Friday.

Nebraska man killed in crash Thursday on I-170
ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. (First Alert 4) - An Arlington, Nebraska, man was killed in a single-vehicle crash Thursday morning at the Interstate 170 ramp to Interstate 70. Missouri State Highway Patrol online crash reports state 66-year-old Thomas R. Cushman was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash and transported to the St Louis County Morgue.
