HACKENSACK — Three weeks into the school year, more than 1,400 middle schoolers do not have class schedules, due to a problem with the rollout of a new scheduling system. Hackensack Middle School planned to introduce new schedules this September, but when students arrived on the first day, there was mass confusion. Schedules were wrong, some with nothing listed for one period and several classes on for another. Students didn’t know what class to report to or who their teachers were.
