Board of Commissioners Allocates State Funds to Fight Drug, Alcohol Abuse in Hudson County Communities
HUDSON COUNTY, NJ - The Hudson County Board of Commissioners voted to accept a total of $270,478 from the Governor’s Council on Alcoholism and Drug Abuse and subsequently allocate it to Hudson County’s Municipal Alliances. The Council administers the state's Alliance to Prevent Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Program which is the largest network of community-based anti-drug coalitions in the nation with thousands of stakeholders serving on over 300 alliances encompassing more than 400 municipalities throughout New Jersey.
