The family of a fallen officer from Elmont is urging a parole board not to release the man who killed him.

NYPD Officer Anthony Dwyer was killed in 1989 when he was pushed off a roof by Eddie Matos, who was accused of robbery.

Matos is currently serving 25 years to life in prison. For the third time in just over a year, Dwyer's family is pleading to keep their loved one's killer behind bars.

Matos is up for parole in June.

The Police Benevolence Association has an online petition fighting his parole on its website.
