Lebanon Tigers Sports Changes For Thursday, May 16
The Lebanon Tigers Athletic Department announced a cancellation and delay for sports scheduled to commence tonight, Thursday, May 16. The Tigers JV Baseball game at Crawfordsville has been postponed. The Tigers Varsity Softball game will be played with a delayed start time around 6 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. with a possibility of a cancellation.

Athenians and Stars set to meet for sectional title
Mother Nautre allowed the girls tennis sectional to be played outdoors on Wednesday at Crawfordsville. The semi-finals took place with Western Boone taking on Southmont and the host Athenians taking on Lebanon who defeated North Montgomery in the opening match on Tuesday. CHS was able to defeat Lebanon 3-2 to advance to Thursday’s championship game while Southmont and WeBo would come down to the wire. With the match even at 2-2 it came down to a third set at two singles between South’s Marley Jones and the Stars Abigail Brunty. Brunty secured the 6-4 third set win and sent the Stars to the championship match as WeBo downed the Mounties 3-2.
Chargers give it their all in sectional vs Tigers
The Crawfordsville Girls Tennis Sectional got underway at the Wabash College Indoor Courts on Tuesday as the North Montgomery Chargers and the Lebanon Tigers squared off in a re-match of the regular season where the Tigers were 4-1 winners. Learning from that match and playing their best tennis of the season as of late, the Chargers gave the Tigers a fight but ultimately saw their season come to an end with a 3-2 loss.
