JEFFERSON COUNTY, Ill. (KBSI) –According to law enforcement on May 16, 2021, 19-year-old John Paul Parton also known as JP left his parents’ home in High Ridge Missouri to go to work. His parents say he told them he was going camping with friends but would be back the next day. However, he never returned home.

Inmates intervene to help corrections officer during assault at St. Louis City Justice Center
ST. LOUIS — A female guard and a male inmate at the City Justice Center were taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries following an assault there Wednesday. The Department of Public Safety confirmed that at around 11 a.m., a detainee assaulted a corrections officer with a closed fist while opening a door.

Man, 71, found dead in downtown St. Louis hotel room
ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A man was found dead inside a downtown St. Louis hotel room on Tuesday. St. Louis police said the 71-year-old was found dead inside a room at the Mark Twain Hotel on 9th Street. Officers classified the death as a “sudden death” and said the Medical Examiner’s Office had assumed the investigation.
