    Tuscumbia Police Department looking for driver of red Mustang believed to be involved in deadly hit-and-run

    TUSCUMBIA, Ala. (WHNT) — The Tuscumbia Police Department is asking for the public’s help for information regarding a deadly hit-and-run on April 17.

    TPD announced on April 28 that they are looking for the driver of a 2005-2009 red Ford Mustang believed to be involved in a hit-and-run that killed one person near the Microtel on Highway 72. The department said that this is the only information they have regarding the situation.

    TPD said the hit-and-run occurred around 8 p.m. on April 17 and that the victim died from their injuries.

    The department asks that anyone with any information, call them at 256-383-3121.
