Motorcycle swap meet held at Admiral Twin Drive-In

TULSA, Okla. — A swap meet was held Sunday morning at the Admiral Twin Drive-In in north Tulsa.

People were able to buy, sell and trade various motorcycle and car parts along with other merchandise.

Organizer Peter Tudor said the event was put together to help revive the motorcycle swap meet scene in Tulsa.

“We love the history, Admiral history, you know this drive-in has been really good and we had some really good swap meets years ago and just trying to bring it back and kind of build a community along with, you know, have fun, get to meet people and it’s been really good,” Tudor said.

Tudor said despite the rain and Cinco De Mayo, they topped out with around 92 people.

“We’re happy with it, it was a good turn out and for our first one back it was kind of a learning experience for us, lot of lessons learned, but the one coming up in September is going to be a good fun turn out, better weather probably,” Tudor said.
