Barrino to receive honor at local event
HIGH POINT — Singer and actor Fantasia Barrino is scheduled to return to her hometown next month for a ceremony honoring her accomplishments as a performer. The 2004 “American Idol” contest winner will be the guest of honor during an event from 2 to 6 p.m. June 16 at Truist Point stadium downtown.
