North Redding area to see long-term roadwork near I-5, Collyer Drive
Redding drivers should expect delays and detours in the Country Oaks neighborhood throughout the summer and into autumn, the Redding Public Works Department said. The city announced it started work on the Country Oaks Water Main Replacement Project in late June between Collyer Drive and Interstate 5. Construction hours will be 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Oct. 13, according to the city. All roads in the area are subject to intermittent traffic controls, including one-way traffic and detours. This includes roads between Collyer Drive, I-5 and Highway 299, according to planners.
