MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - Monday marks the kickoff of the Action News 5 Holiday Food Drive in partnership with the Mid-South Food Bank and Kroger. Community members can participate by making a monetary donation or dropping off food items at any Kroger location. Shoppers buying groceries or Thanksgiving dinner essentials can contribute by rounding up their purchase totals at the register, or by dropping off non-perishable goods and canned items. The Mid-South Food Bank is specifically requesting peanut butter, canned chicken, canned tuna, and soup.
