AHSTW Girls and Boys Send Three Teams Each to State Track – Audubon Girls Await Official Times
(Treynor, IA) The Treynor state-qualifier meet started at 4 p.m. on Thursday as AHSTW and Audubon Girls track made their final adjustments before starting the races. The wait didn’t take long for the Lady Vikes as they started the meet off strong winning the 800-meter sprint medley with a time of 1:51.44. Caitlyn Dills, Loralei Wahling, Brooklyn Buck and Bella Lamp put together the Lady Vikes best time of the season behind a strong anchor leg from Lamp, overtaking MVAO-COU and Van Meter in the final lap to send the relay team to state.
Bellevue FOE donates to group helping kids battle congenital heart disease
On Saturday, the Bellevue Ladies Auxiliary Fraternal Order of Eagles presented checks totaling $10,500 to Heart Heroes, a nonprofit group that works to give a little help to families of kids who suffer from congenital heart disease.

MINDEN, Iowa (WOWT) - It’s nearly been two weeks since an EF-3 tornado tore apart homes and businesses in the Pottawattamie County town of Minden. “We lost our water plant, 90% of our business district is gone,” said mayor Kevin Zimmerman. “35 to 40% of our homes are either damaged or not livable.”
