That’s because Mountain Crest was dialed in, in every facet of the game in its 12-0 five-inning victory over Tooele in Game 2 of their regional series in the 4A state baseball playoffs on a pleasant and sunny Saturday afternoon at The Yard. The Mustangs didn’t need the if-necessary contest in their three-game series, inasmuch as they defeated the Buffaloes, 8-0 in Friday’s opener.
