Decision 2026: See outcome for all Trumbull County levies and issues

Several Trumbull County communities and townships had renewal or additional levies on the ballot Tuesday. Braceville Township fire, EMS renewal levy passed with 724 for the levy and 315 against. The 1 mill levy will bring in $64,573 annually, costing property owners $26 per $100,000 of value for maintaining fire and EMS protection for 5 years, commencing in 2027, first due in calendar year 2028.

Trumbull County will have no hospital labor and delivery unit after St. Joseph move

Mercy Health is closing the labor and delivery unit at St. Joseph Hospital in Warren, moving deliveries to St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital in Youngstown. Labor and delivery will move out of St. Joseph by early December and will be replaced by a 25-bed inpatient unit. The move leaves Trumbull County without a labor and delivery unit.
