Porch pirate disguised as Amazon driver swipes package from Delaware County home: police
HAVERTOWN, Pa. - Authorities in Delaware County are searching for an alleged porch pirate who they say disguised himself as an Amazon delivery driver to snatch a package. The Haverford Police Department shared a photo Thursday of the suspect taken outside a house on the 600 block of Covington Road.

CONCORD TWP, Pa. - Authorities in Delaware County are investigating a home break-in that left several rooms ransacked while the residents were away last weekend. The break-in was reported Sunday when police say a 54-year-old couple returned to their home on Beech Tree Drive in Concord to find the rear glass door shattered.
Off-duty cop fatally shoots pit bull as woman is attacked by multiple dogs in Southwest Philly
An off-duty police officer shot and killed a pit bull Tuesday morning as that dog and two others attacked a woman in Southwest Philadelphia, authorities said. The attack happened around 10:40 a.m. on the 1500 block of South 58th Street in Kingsessing. The officer was in his personal car when he saw three dogs attacking the 52-year-old. The owner of the dogs, a 21-year-old man, was attempting to get the animals to stop biting the woman, police said.

Three former Chester Housing Authority (CHA) officials and a contractor are now awaiting their fate behind bars, facing hard time for pocketing cash meant for public housing. Norman D. Wise, former Director of Public Housing, along with his right-hand man Douglas E. Daniel, and accomplice contractor Leonard F. Coleman, were sentenced this week for their roles in bribery and fraud schemes, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.
