GDOT to activate new pedestrian safety beacon on Victory Drive
SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - State transportation officials are preparing to activate a new pedestrian safety signal on one of Savannah’s busiest corridors next week. The Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) announced that a new pedestrian hybrid beacon will be activated at the intersection of U.S. Highway 80/Victory Drive and Atlantic Avenue on Thursday, Aug. 27, weather permitting.
