Community Invited To Be A Part Of Public Art Piece
The Warsaw Public Arts Commission (WPAC) invites the community to be a part of the newest public art piece - “Reflection” - downtown during Third Friday on June 21. Nationally selected artist Gail Christofferson will host a session where glass panels will be inserted into portions of the mosaic that will become a one of a kind sculpture for the community. WPAC looks forward to seeing the community at their booth by City Hall to participate in the building of this piece of art, to be installed later this summer. Kosciusko County Historical Society Announces ‘Big Top’ Event
The Kosciusko County Historical Society announced an upcoming event on June 21. The Old Jail Museum will be hosting “Museum Under the Big Top” from 5 to 9 p.m. in conjunction with the June Third Friday’s celebration in downtown Warsaw. The event will feature music from a historic Tangly Air Calliope, face painting and games for kids, as well as circus-themed refreshments. There will also be an appearance by one of only a handful of operational steam calliopes in the United States.
