Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accidents:. 7:23 a.m. Monday, Nov. 27, North CR 100E, north of East CR 450N, Warsaw. Drivers: Carter C. Fowler, 21, Martin Street, Rome City; and Salvador L. Leyva Cornejo, 58, East North Winds Drive, Warsaw. Fowler’s vehicle rear-ended Leyva Cornejo’s. Fowler was taken to Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital for left shoulder pain. Damage up to $5,000.

Alleged Altercation Leads to Multiple Arrests
Plymouth Police Department officers responded to Fifth Street and Lake Avenue for an unknown issue after a 911 call Friday, November 24 just before 2 a.m. ET. Officers encountered a group of people standing outside a residence on Fifth Street and it was determined an argument and possibly a physical altercation had occurred, according to the report.
Bourbon Town Council Hears Attorney Report
Town of Bourbon Attorney Alex Hoover updated the Council on the American Legal Publishing Corporation Editorial Report during the regular meeting in November. The report highlights that the speed limit on Sunset Drive is in violation of Indiana Code. A municipality can limit speed to 20 MPH, it is currently set at 15 MPH. Hoover recommended updating that to 20 MPH.

Holloway Charged In Fatal Drug Overdose Case
SYRACUSE — A Syracuse man is facing a new criminal charge for dealing drugs to a woman who overdosed and died. Shane Ashley Holloway, 53, of 306 W. Valleyview Drive, Syracuse, is charged with dealing in a controlled substance resulting in death, a level 1 felony; and possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a common nuisance, both level 6 felonies.
