Seniors from Dallastown and West York were named boys' lacrosse players of the year by YAIAA coaches. Dallastown attacker Griffin Pickett led the league at just under five goals and three assists per game. He led the Wildcats to the league tournament final and the District 3 Class 3A tournament.

Tied at 2-2 after four innings, Shippensburg and Gettysburg battled through eight-and-a-half scoreless innings before the Greyhounds walked off with the win on an unearned run in the bottom of the 13th of the District III 5A playoffs. Gettysburg ace Tegan Kuhns pitched into the ninth, allowing two runs and striking out 11. Wes Coolbaugh was strong for the next four, allowing just two hits and fanning four. Coolbaugh also had a strong game offensively, collecting a pair of hits and driving in both Gettysburg runs. Troy Chamberlin threw seven scoreless innings in relief of starter Aydin Mentzer for Shippensburg and also drove in a run.
Sam Rybacki leads Mechanicsburg to district quarterfinals with cruising win over Susquehannock
Needing just five innings, Mechanicsburg’s softball squad was able to ease past Susquehannock 11-1 to advance to the District 3 5A quarterfinals. Star pitcher Sam Rybacki was dominant on the mound, tossing all five frames, allowing two hits and no earned runs while striking out six. She also went 1-for-1 with two runs scored.
