Isaac Martinez places fifth at State Tennis Tournament
After dealing with a nagging Achilles injury, Yoakum High School (YHS) Bulldog Isaac Martinez made his way to second place through five grueling matches at the Regional Tournament held May 8-10 in Kerrville. He will be playing in the state tournament next week May 16 and May 17 in San Antonio beginning at 8 a.m. Fernando Lopez and Santiago Huerta finished fourth in the YHS boys doubles at Regionals.
