Jordan Thornhill, a recent MSUspring graduate and Omega Psi Phi fraternity member, was shot and killed at a block party on July 4 in Detroit on the city's west side. The East Lansing Police Department, along with several fire and rescue trucks, was reported outside The Hub apartment complex on Grand River Ave. Friday afternoon in response to an incident."That incident is a suicide," East Lansing Interim Chief of Police Chad Pride told The State News over voicemail. "We don't release any more information on that due to the nature of that.
