Four Peaks Brewing is bringing back its beloved annual community program, Four Peaks for Teachers, for its thirteenth year, starting this May during Teacher Appreciation Week.

Since its inception in 2011, Four Peaks For Teachers has become an expansive, multi-state effort — to date, the program has provided over 50,000 supply kits and over $30,000 in cash grants to deserving teachers throughout the Southwest, a press release stated.

“Four Peaks strives to make a positive impact on our community one sip at a time,” Four Peaks President Jeremy Bolian stated in the release. “We’re thrilled to bring back this program for its 13th year and love supporting our local teachers. We’re grateful for their support of our communities, and this program helps lift the burden so they aren’t spending their own money on supplies each year.”

This summer, Four Peaks Brewing will distribute thousands of free supply kits to teachers in Arizona and neighboring states. Teacher kit pick-ups will take place at Four Peaks Tempe Pub on June 6, 11 and 18.

Additional pickup locations and dates will be finalized in the coming weeks and posted at FourPeaksForTeachers.org, the release noted.

Utilizing proceeds from Kilt Lifter Amber Ale, Four Peaks For Teachers acquires essential supplies identified by educators as their top priorities. And new this year, the supply kits will have even more premium products, according to the release, from post-it notes and highlighters to dry-erase markers and paper.

Another part of the program is the “Thank A Teacher” contest, which accepts nominations for extraordinary teachers, the release stated. This year’s grand prize ‘Teacher of the Year’ will receive a $3,000 cash grant and a catered teacher’s lunch, plus 10 runners up will receive $1,000 cash grants.

Four Peaks is seeking nominations from individuals 21 and up, from May 6 through June 30 and winners will be announced shortly after.

To add to the fun, teachers with a valid ID will receive $3 pints at the Four Peaks Pub in Tempe every Tuesday from May 6 through July 30. Four Peaks is also bringing back the fan-favorite Afterschool Snack — a peanut butter and jelly infused Kilt Lifter — starting July 1 at the pub. The release added.

Finally, Four Peaks Charities will sell $5 raffle tickets to pub visitors from May 6 through July 31 for a chance to win the grand prize for a three-day Boho Van premium camping van rental. Raffle ticket sales will directly benefit Four Peaks For Teachers.

The Four Peaks For Teachers program is made possible by a portion of the proceeds from beer sales and generous donations from patrons. As a nonprofit 501(c)(3), Four Peaks Charities accepts tax-exempt donations to continue supporting teachers in the Southwest.
