Storm Team 11: Summer warmth continues today; storm risk returns Friday
The summer-like warmth continues today with highs in the low 80s in the Tri-Cities, mid to upper 70s in the mountains. A storm complex is expected to move into our area sometime overnight into early Friday morning. Main impacts will be heavy rain and gusty winds. Given the early morning arrival, the severe risk looks marginal with an isolated severe storm possible. Storm risk looks to end quickly after this storm complex moves through.
