    Cuban Sandwich Festival: Enjoy dance performances, Cuban sandwiches and live music by Orquesta Infinidad and the Elevation Band as you watch the creation of a 350-foot-long Cuban sandwich. No cover. Noon-6 p.m. Sunday (May 26). Centennial Park, 1800 E. Eighth Ave., Tampa. 813-223-1111.

    Memorial Day Parade: The parade features marching bands, military regalia, military units, veterans organizations and floats. It starts at the corner of Cleveland Street and South Madison Avenue, runs west along Cleveland to North Osceola Avenue, passes by Coachman Park and finishes on Jones Road.     Uptown Music and Arts Festival: This event features the works of visual artists and performances by contemporary jazz and R&B musicians.     Spotlight Tampa Bay: Community Conversation Series: How are the state and the Tampa Bay area preparing for a warming world?
