TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) – We heat up fast today, and highs will be near record levels in the low 90s. The sea breeze keeps the coast slightly cooler.

There’s just a 10% chance of an inland shower today, and the rain chance drops even lower tomorrow.

A weak cold front drifts south Friday, so we’ll get a few more clouds and a bit stronger breeze. A few showers also develop, and the most widespread rain will be north of I-4.

Once the front sinks to the south, showers end early on Saturday, and less humid air arrives. It will still be warm for Mother’s Day Weekend, but it’ll be more comfortable.
