    Human remains washed up on Florida beach: deputies

    TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Remains that appeared to be human were discovered by a beachgoer on Thursday morning, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

    Around 7:43 a.m., officials responded to the 11600 block of Turtle Road in North Palm Beach after a resident walking the beach came across the remains.

    Baby died after student gave birth in University of Tampa dorm bathroom, records say

    Detectives launched an investigation and medical examiners took the remains.

    The sheriff’s office said the remains have not been identified and that DNA will play a big role in the investigation.

    No further details were made available.
