Tennessee’s rowing team earns 10th appearance in NCAA Rowing Championships
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - The 5th ranked Tennessee Rowing team has earned an at-large bid in the 2024 NCAA Rowing Championships. It’s the 10th appearance in program history. After having historic success this season, the Lady Vols earned three top-seven seeds. The Lady Vols are the No. 4 overall seed in the First Eight, the No. 2 seed in the Second Eight and the No. 7 seed in the Four.
Central Illinois man wins $1 million on scratch-off lottery ticket
FAIRVIEW, Ill. (WMBD) — One lucky Illinois Lottery player said he couldn’t believe his luck after winning the top prize off a scratch-off ticket. According to the Illinois Lottery news release, Kevin Weaver of Fairview bought the “$40 Million Mega Bucks” ticket from the County Market located at 1090 E. Fort St. in Farmington.
