WILKES-BARRE, Pa. — Starship, featuring Mickey Thomas, will rock Public Square in Wilkes-Barre this summer. Mayor George Brown announced the free classic rock show on Thursday afternoon. The concert on August 16 will start with an opening act at 6 p.m., followed by Starship blasting off at 7:30 p.m.

SCRANTON, Pa. — Eastern PA Animal Alliance is a non-profit, low-cost spay and neuter clinic in NEPA. EPAA has a location in Wilkes-Barre that is open on Mondays and Fridays. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, EPAA goes mobile, traveling to Scranton and the Mount Pocono area.
