Skier from Ketchum dies in backcountry avalanche
IDAHO, USA — Terrence O'Connor, an E.R Doctor from Ketchum died while skiing on Donaldson Peak after being caught in an avalanche on May 10. According to the Sawtooth Avalanche Center and Colorado Avalanche Information Center, two skiers were skiing the peak in the Lost River Range when the man triggered an avalanche.

Idaho emergency room doctor dies in avalanche on ski trip
A nature-loving doctor was killed in an avalanche on Friday while he was skiing in Idaho, authorities say. Ketchum, Idaho, resident Dr. Terrence "Terry" O'Connor was identified as the sole victim of the avalanche, officials said. The Custer County Coroner's Office confirmed the death to Fox News Digital on Sunday evening.

An Idaho emergency room doctor who connected adventure-seeking to acts of altruism died on Friday in an avalanche that he apparently triggered while skiing. The Sawtooth Avalanche Center reported that a skier was killed on Friday while backcountry skiing on Donaldson Peak in Idaho’s Lost River Range. The Custer County coroner identified the skier as emergency department physician Dr. Terrence “Terry” O’Connor, according to Idaho Mountain Express.
