Hailey announces two grant awards totaling $125,000
Hailey, Idaho (KMVT/KSVT) — The Wood River Women’s Charitable Foundation awarded $25,000 to the “Kiwanis of Hailey and the Wood River Valley” for the development of a permanent community stage at Hop Porter Park. This transformative project will create the first-ever public outdoor performing arts stage in Hailey. With the growth of Hailey Rocks concert series and the demand for family-friendly events, Kiwanis of Hailey offered to co-sponsor this grant application with the City. The Kiwanis Club is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time. Hailey has partnered with the Kiwanis Club on numerous park projects. Bob Wiederrick, Kiwanis Club of Hailey, states, “This is by far our most ambitious parks project in our ten years of improving parks. The Kiwanis Club of Hailey is thrilled to have received this grant to support our mission.”
