    Sulphur Springs city phone lines are down, here’s how to contact offices

    SULPHUR SPRINGS, Texas ( KETK ) — The Sulphur Springs Police Department said several non-emergency city phone lines are down on Wednesday.

    According to a release, the City of Sulphur Springs Utility Office, City Hall, Municipal Court and Police Department non-emergency phone lines are currently down. The police department said their phone providers are aware of the situation and are working to restore service.

    • People are asked to email lsmith@sulphurspringstx.org or go to the Water Office at 125 S. Davis Street for water, sewer, trash and other general inquiries.
    • For community development inquiries people are asked to contact jgraham@sulphurspringstx.org.
    • For municipal court inquiries people can contact knewsom@sulphurspringstx.org.
    • For non-emergency calls to the police, people can call the sheriff’s office at 903-438-4040 and they will reportedly forward the information to the police department.

    911 lines are reportedly still working, and people are encouraged to call 911 if there is an emergency.
