There’s a new management team in town at Hopkinsville’s Dunkin’ Donuts and Baskin Robbin’s, and they celebrated a fresh start Saturday with giveaways and good times. That new management is Kristin Kelly, who was all smiles and energy Saturday morning as they welcomed in lines of guests who were on the hunt for free coffee and ice cream for a year, with the first 50 people scoring that prize. But there were plenty of other giveaways happening, including an hour of 99 cent coffee and small ice cream scoops, a DJ playing tunes in the parking lot and face painting taking place for the kiddos.

Fall is underway, and Vansauwa’s Tacos and Vegan Eats is inviting the community to enjoy the season at its Pumpkins, Spice and Everything Nice Family Night Market. The market will take over Virginia Park, located at the corner of East 9th and South Campbell Streets, starting on Saturday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. The market then returns to the park each Friday evening through October.
