Plymouth South survived a pair of North Quincy-recovered onside kicks to secure a playoff spot. Canton defeated Oliver Ames in a de facto playoff game for both sides in a thriller. Weymouth narrowly edged out Newton North for the final spot in the Division 1 playoffs. Scituate finished the season as the area's lone undefeated team (only 13 teams finished unblemished in the state). The Sailors were one of three local teams to earn the No. 1 seed in their bracket (Div. 4), along with Norwell (Div. 6) and Cohasset (Div. 7).
