Person found dead at Janesville Schools Outdoor Lab campus
JANESVILLE, Wis. -- A welfare check on a person led the Janesville Police Department to briefly evacuate the Janesville Schools Outdoor Lab Thursday. In an update, police said a person was found dead during a search of the campus.

In the first case, 36-year-old Candice Patterson of Middleton and 19-year-old Deovion Baker of Madison are charged with lying when purchasing two handguns on Sept. 1, 2023 from a Sun Prairie gun store.
