CHILLICOTHE — It's now officially playoff season. Softball teams from around the area have spent the past week wrapping up their final regular season games. Long chase leads to charges against Jackson man
A Jackson man given community control for failure to comply was among four people recently sentenced in Highland County Common Pleas Court. Carl Ghiloni, 37, was sentenced to three years of community control on one count of failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer, a third-degree felony. Ghiloni was ordered to be evaluated for Substance Use Disorder, his mental health and then comply with any recommended treatment. The court ordered that Ghiloni’s driver’s license be suspended for three years starting May 1, 2024, and that if Ghiloni violates any of the community control sanctions, he would be given a sentence of nine to 36 months and ordered to pay a fine of $10,000.
