STERLINGTON, La (KTVE/KARD) – The Sterlington Sports Complex is upgrading its facilities to feature more advanced technology that will benefit individuals who wish to view games outside of the complex.

After three months of working with NBC SportsEngine, the Sports Complex in Sterlington is now equipped with 20 new cameras on all 10 fields. KTVE/KARD spoke with the Mayor of Sterlington, Matt Talbert, for his thoughts on the new installation.

We’re excited that we’ve just signed a deal with NBC Sports Engine to stream games from all ten fields out here at the Sterlington Sports Complex.

Each field has two cameras that are designed with AI technology. The new technology gives the cameras the ability to follow players who are in motion, track the ball in play, and provide several different angles. The part owner of 2 Seam Sports, Kerry ELEE, spoke to KTVE/KARD about the benefits of the streaming cameras.

It’ll bring more awareness to the facility and what we have to offer. Virtually every event that takes place out here will be live streamed. So those who can’t make it out to the game, or those who have relatives out of state, things like that. It gives them a chance to watch the games.

For individuals looking to utilize the new live stream option, the NBC SportsEngine app is available for download on Apple and Android devices. The subscription to view games costs $11.99 a month or $8.99 a month when using the code associated with the Sterlington Sports Complex.
